3 thay đổi cần adjust
HV MYP có lợi thế lớn — không có "shock" như HV IGCSE. Nhưng vẫn có 3 areas cần adjust.

MYP đánh giá theo 4 criteria độc lập. DP đánh giá tổng thể với grade boundaries fixed. HV MYP 7-8 chỉ đạt DP 5-6 DP1 đầu vì chưa adjust pace tính toán điểm.
eAssessment optional
→ mandatory 3-hour
MYP heavily coursework. DP final exam tháng 5 chiếm 70-80%. Test-taking stamina (3h papers, multiple/ngày) là kỹ năng MỚI.
Breadth 8 môn
→ Depth 3 HL
MYP cover 8 môn ở mức trung bình. DP HL deep dive chuyên sâu (đặc biệt Math AA HL, Physics HL, Chem HL). Học depth khác với học breadth.

Đừng "complacent" vì có MYP background
"Mình đã học IB rồi, DP easy" — sai! Tỷ lệ MYP underperform DP1 đầu: 22% (complacency). DP HL workload gấp 3x MYP. Rigorous routine từ tuần 1.
ATL skills là vũ khí bí mật
5 ATL skills (Communication, Self-mgmt, Research, Social, Thinking) là foundation của DP success. HV MYP đã mastered 5 ATL skills. Apply intentionally trong DP — đặc biệt Self-mgmt (time mgmt 6 môn) và Research (IA + EE).
Don't underestimate Math AA HL jump
MYP Math 7-8 ≠ Math AA HL automatic. MYP Math chỉ cover ~40% Math AA SL content, 25% Math AA HL content. Calculus + complex numbers + 3D vectors mới. Even strong MYP Math students cần 50+ giờ summer prep cho Math AA HL. Đừng skip Math bootcamp vì confidence MYP.
